STUDIO PROJECT Completed 2001. Event Architecture designed for a new media art opening to take place one evening only on the former 4th street freight yard in downtown Los Angeles. The time/context driven design process originated as space mapping, evolved through 3D modeling, Curating, Marketing, Event Management to Construction Coordination. |

| Pure forms suggested by the digital nature of the content were manipulated based on the forces of site, structure, program and use. The resulting solution was architecture as interface. An impermanent architecture designed with an overall lifespan - not of decades, but of hours - as impermanent as its content. The solution became an animate urban surface, shelter, tool and place. |
