This concept, generated as part of an idea-collecting project for the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD), proposed the development of urban sites for pubic schools. This magnet-school draws students from throughout the region and engages local business and industry. |

| This design is a performing arts high school in the most dense part of the redeveloping Los Angeles downtown. The challenge was to design a high-rise structure that can programmatically fulfill the demands of performing arts spaces, provide a 'public' component appealing to industry and still provide secure, open spaces for students. |
